NBA – NBA Commissioner David Stern says the league is done negotiating with the players union. He is asking players to accept a deal that could potentially save the season. The deal on the table is essentially a 50-50 split which is something the players have been asking for. But the union Executive Director, isn’t going for it. If the deal isn’t accepted, the union will likely dissolve.
NASCAR – Kasey Kahne snapped an 81 race winless streak Sunday in Arizona. Carl Edwards second and took a 3-point lead over Tony Stewart heading into the final race of the year. It’s the closest championship battle since the Chase for the Cup format started in 2004. What’s your prediction for next week’s race?
Boxing – Manny Pacquiao beat Juan Manuel Marquez by a very slim judge’s decision. It keeps hopes alive for a huge title bout between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. next year. Do you think the judges made the right call in Saturday’s fight?
