Jen Mueller Talk Sporty to MeNCAA Football – LSU is the unanimous #1 in the AP college football poll.  It’s the first time since 2008 that a team received all the first place votes during the regular season.  LSU is also #1 in the BCS rankings followed by Oklahoma State.  Both unbeatens could be playing for the national title if they run the table.  Oregon moves up to #4 in the BCS rankings. The Ducks only loss came against LSU in Week 1.  Where does Oregon belong in the title talk?  Can LSU and Okalhoma State run the table?

NFL – The Denver Broncos made Tim Tebow their starting quarterback a few weeks ago, and they’re reinventing the wheel as to how to win games.  Tebow threw just 8 passes in the Broncos win Sunday.  In fact, he’s the first starting QB with more rushes than passes in a game, since 1974.  What do you think about the Bronco’s attempts to hide Tebow’s unorthodox throwing style?

NBA – NBA Commissioner David Stern says the league is done negotiating with the players union.   He is asking players to accept a deal that could potentially save the season.  The deal on the table is essentially a 50-50 split which is something the players have been asking for.  But the union Executive Director, isn’t going for it.  If the deal isn’t accepted, the union will likely dissolve.

NASCAR – Kasey Kahne snapped an 81 race winless streak Sunday in Arizona.   Carl Edwards second and took a 3-point lead over Tony Stewart heading into the final race of the year.  It’s the closest championship battle since the Chase for the Cup format started in 2004.  What’s your prediction for next week’s race?

BoxingManny Pacquiao beat Juan Manuel Marquez by a very slim judge’s decision.  It keeps hopes alive for a huge title bout between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. next year.  Do you think the judges made the right call in Saturday’s fight?
