What a weekend of football!

We start with college ranks where, the top ranked team lost of a third straight week.   Oklahoma lost to Missouri Saturday.  The loss means there’s a new team on top the BCS rankings.  Auburn takes over the top spot, despite being #3 in both the AP and Coaches Polls. Go figure.  What do you think of the rankings?  How did your team fare this weekend?

Completely unpredictable, might be the best way to describe the NFL season so far.  Did anyone think the Cleveland Browns would knock off the defending Super Bowl Champs?  Or the Raiders would rush for more than 300 yards against Denver and get the win?  How would you describe the season?  Which team has surprised you?

For Seahawks fans, left tackle Russell Okung left Sunday’s game early with another ankle injury. The good news – Pete Carroll says its not as bad as the previous injury that sidelined him for the first 3 games of the regular season.  How concerning is his health?

The World Series matchup is set between the San Francisco Giants and Texas Rangers.  It’s the first ever World Series appearance for the Rangers.  Who do you like? Why?

Texas catcher Benji Molina will get a World Series ring regardless which team wins.  He’s the first catcher in baseball history to appear in the World Series against a team he played for earlier this season. Do you think the Rangers will have an advantage since he’s so familiar with the Giants?

Happy taking!
