Every year for the last 10 years, my New Year’s resolutions look like this:
- Drink more water
- Floss more
Two simple things that don’t require much effort on my part, and are seemingly easy to succeed at – because who wants to fail right off the bat in a new year? Making more significant resolutions and actually putting them in writing means there’s a possibility of failure. Of course, it could also lead to tremendous success. Which is why I’m adding a third resolution to my list.
3. Raise at least $1,000 a month for non-profits in the Northwest.
It’s a big goal for me, and one that I need some help in achieving.
Here’s the plan – buy a set of Talk Sporty to Me greeting cards for $20 and $10 of every set sold will go directly to the designated non-profit that month.
Why greeting cards? Because they’re a great way to make a world of difference in the lives of people around you. I write thank you notes to the athletes and coaches I work with throughout the year to that I care and to cultivate those business relationships. You can do the same thing, and help fund life-saving research at in the process.
Join Talk Sporty in making a world of difference and a difference in the world.
