The Seattle Seahawks knocked off San Diego Sunday 27-20 thank to 2 kickoff returns for touchdowns by Leon Washington.  The Hawks also got a boost from the fans referred to as “The 12th Man” during the Chargers final drive that helped seal the win for the Hawks.  Home field advantage is hugely important to the team.  How much of a role do you think it plays?

Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick is one of the best QB’s in the league right now.  Just 2 years ago he missed the entire season serving a prison sentence for dog fighting.  After one year as a backup, he’s taking over the starting duties and done quite well.  This week he’ll face former Philly QB Donovan McNabb and the Washington Redskins.  Are you surprised by Vick’s performance so far?  How do you think the fans will react to McNabb?

We’re entering the final week of baseball’s regular season which means the Mariners season ends next Sunday.  M’s ace Felix Hernandez is in the running for the Cy Young award and received key endorsements over the weekend.  He leads the other candidates in ERA, Strikeouts and Innings Pitched, the only number he lacks is wins.  Felix will face off against former teammate Cliff Lee in Texas Tuesday in a game that could go a long way in swaying the voters.  Do you think Felix deserves the Cy Young?  What do you think the determining factor should be?

Golf’s Ryder Cup gets underway this weekend.  It’s the best US golfer against Europe’s best golfers.  There’s pride, bragging rights not only for the players but their respective countries.  While it’s a team competition, you can bet all eyes are on Tiger Woods.  He was selected for the team, but still hasn’t regained his championship form and historically doesn’t perform well at the Ryder Cup.  How do you think Tiger will do this weekend?  How close to you think the match will be?  The captains are predicting a close finish.
