Welcome to post-Super Bowl Monday. According to a 2004 survey, an estimated 1.4 million employed adults will call in sick to work today or already planned to take the day off, so there’s a chance you’ll have to wait a day to strike up a conversation with your co-workers. When everyone gets back in the office here are a few things to talk about.
NFL – In case you missed it Sunday- the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl. Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers won MVP honors, something the legendary Brett Favre never did. Has Rodgers proved himself as one of the elite quarterbacks in the league? What did you think of the game?
NFL – The league also announced the 2011 Hall of Fame class. There are several all-time greats on the list. The induction ceremony will take place in August. Any thoughts on the class that includes Deion Sanders and Marshall Faulk?
NFL – Sunday’s game might be the last football game fans see for a while. The current collective bargaining agreement expires March 3rd if no deal is reached and the deadline is not extended, the NFL could have it’s first work stoppage since 1987. When do you think a deal will get done? Will they miss any games in 2011 due to a stoppage?
College Hoops – Ohio State is still unbeaten this season. The Buckeyes play Wisconsin Saturday when they attempt to go 25-0 on the season. Do you think they can run the table for the rest of the season?
